Not following through on your commitments? Forgetful? My 3-step formula will do WONDERS!
Not really, but it should help. The following video is a trick that I use to help me remember pretty much anything that isn’t part of my normal routine. I’ve been using it for a little over a year now and have had zero problems with it.
Tools you’ll need:
- Cell Phone
- Google (Gmail) account
Enjoy, and please leave a comment below! I’m testing out ScreenFlow and want to know your thoughts on how the 2nd half of this video came out.
Talk to you soon!

Good walk through! I’ve got an entire calendar set up on G-Cal that is for the sole purpose of reminders. I’ve got standing reminders to text me each morning that I use as my alarm clock. Ha!
Also, for everyone’s birthday, anniversaries, etc I put in a reminders for a week before and the day before. That way I can be on the look out for gifts or send a card to arrive on the right day.
Great tip!

bravo Crocker! Definitely informative! The photographer I work with uses “ishowu” to do his critiques (http://www.zarias.com/photography-critique-episode-12/) and said that when he was checking out the different service providers, he thought screenflow was a big buggy. However, all have been updated now, and there’s probably not much difference.
Best of luck! You have a great voice and personality to be an online video blogger! Keep it up!

Thank you Sherri!
Anything that you can offer in the way of video production, I’m all ears. I’ve been keeping an eye on you and your company, and to say I’m impressed would be an understatement!
Thanks again for your insight and comment

I could be crazy, but why not have a calendar on the frig, and I write it on there? That would save me about 3 minutes of life.

I guess the point is “out and about” so why not place it in your “notes” section on your blackberry and then sync it with iCal? That’d be 100x’s quicker and easier.

For the folks that have a smart phone, that would be ideal. For those that don’t, a quick text to their email address followed up by an action step (equally as important, if the message just sits in the inbox then what good is it?) is a fast solution.
Also, pen and paper aren’t a bad combo for days that you go “unplugged” and leave the cell phone at home (which I recommend everyone do at least 1 day a week, if not more).
